Rebecca has successfully delivered this new Mental Health Course and following high demands and requests for more course places, we are happy to announce we have 3 new dates available;
Course Content
This one day course is suitable for people who have line management responsibility. The course covers the following areas:
- The role of a manager in supporting and managing mental ill health in the workplace
- How to spot the signs of mental ill health
- Developing Wellness Action Plans
- How to talk to a team member who may be experiencing mental ill health
- Guidance on managing team members during periods of mental ill health
- How to manage absence related to mental ill health
- Supporting a team member to return to work following a period of absence relating to mental ill health
- Understanding of workplace adjustments that could be made to support team members experiencing mental ill health
Following successful completion of the Course, participants will receive a certificate of Attendance and this will count towards your CPD.
