About the SEND Teaching Assistant Skills Bootcamp
What Is the SEND TA Skills Bootcamp?
This course provides intensive SEND training and includes:
- 10 days of online, tutor led training
- Funded by Enterprising Cumbria
- Focus on inclusive practice, SEND awareness, and child-centred support
Who Is It For?
- Individuals aged 19 or over
- Already work in an Education setting and want to upskill
Skills Bootcamp Curriculum Overview
Over the course of 10 online tutor-led training days, learners will gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to support children with special educational needs in real-world classroom settings.

Day 2 – The theoretical background to a range of SEND, for example ASD, attachment and trauma.

Day 4 – Principles and approaches to early identification of SEND
