System People Education are the fastest growing education recruitment and teaching supply agency who have been finding work for local Teachers and TA’s since June 2012. We were the first teaching agency with offices in Cumbria and have grown organically, mainly from kind referrals from local teachers who have found work through us. About the role
We’re looking for a reliable and supportive Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 2 pupil with additional needs. This is a short-term role for approximately four weeks, supporting the child’s learning and helping them access the curriculum.
You’ll be part of a welcoming school environment and play a key role in the pupil’s day-to-day progress.
Key Responsibilities

Work 1:1 with a Year 2 pupil to support learning and development

Assist with classroom activities and tasks

Encourage positive behaviour and engagement

Follow guidance from the class teacher and SEN lead

Help prepare resources as needed

Monitor and report on the pupil’s progress
Entry Requirements
Experience working with primary-aged pupils, ideally with SEN
Patient, reliable, and supportive approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow guidance and adapt to the pupil’s needs
Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification
