About the role
Clifton Primary School are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join them in September! The successful applicant will be working with pupils, supporting their individual development needs.
There will be the opportunity to develop an understanding of inclusive practice working with pupils in class, small groups and on a 1:1 basis. Support will be given from experienced staff and a mentor will be provided to support your own personal development.
Essential qualities include being able to develop and sustain good relationships with the pupils and staff, the ability to use your own initiative, be able to take advice and act upon it and seek support when needed.

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship there may be the opportunity for employment. System People also offer a Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant apprenticeship that you could progress on to to develop your skills even further.This Level 3 apprenticeship is expected to last a period of 17 months. You will attend live tutor led sessions 2 days every month (1 day every other week which will be via Zoom) and participate in online interactive learning via our bespoke innovative platform OLLIE. Your Tutor will also visit you in the workplace for 1-2-1 Tutor sessions during the program.
Training & Development

Entry Requirements
You will need to have achieved a GCSE grade 4/C (or equivalent) in Maths and English by the end this program, therefore if you do not already hold a grade 4 in these subjects, you will be required to carry out a short Maths and English Assessment to see if we are able to offer you Functional skills support to reach a Level 2 (grade C/4 equivalent) by the end of the program.
