Early Years Teacher (rural Carlisle)

We are pleased to be recruiting for a dedicated and knowledgeable Early Years Teacher to join a rural primary school on a temporary, part-time basis (Monday to Wednesday), starting after Easter and continuing until the end of the academic year.

This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a close-knit school community where children are well supported and encouraged to develop confidence and independence from the very start of their education. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Early Years provision, creating a calm, engaging and nurturing learning environment for young children.

The role would suit a teacher who values strong relationships, enjoys working in a smaller setting, and is committed to providing a positive and stimulating start to school life.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching within an Early Years setting

Strong understanding of the EYFS framework

Ability to create a nurturing and structured learning environment

Good organisational and communication skills

A patient, thoughtful and consistent approach

Ability to work effectively as part of a small team

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
