About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school community in a full-time role for up to three months, starting on 9th February. This is a lovely opportunity to support students during a key period, helping them feel confident, motivated, and ready to succeed in their learning.

SEN experience is preferable, and you will play an important part in creating an inclusive, supportive classroom where every young person feels valued. You’ll work closely with a friendly and collaborative team, contributing to a positive school culture that puts student wellbeing and progress at the heart of everything they do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet a range of learning needs

  • Provide additional support and differentiation for students with SEN

  • Create a calm, inclusive, and positive classroom environment

  • Assess and monitor student progress, offering clear and encouraging feedback

  • Work closely with SEN staff, teaching assistants, and colleagues to support individual learning plans

  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and the wider school team

  • Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote the school’s values at all times

Entry Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching at secondary level

SEN experience or a strong interest in inclusive education (preferred)

Good knowledge of the national curriculum and differentiation strategies

Strong communication and organisational skills

A patient, nurturing, and positive approach to behaviour and wellbeing
