About the role
We are seeking dedicated and motivated Primary UKS2 Teachers to join a welcoming school community in a temporary, full-time role starting after Easter. This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of a supportive and collaborative team that is passionate about helping pupils grow in confidence, independence, and a love for learning as they prepare for the next stage of their education.
In this role, you will create engaging and inclusive learning experiences that challenge and inspire upper key stage 2 pupils. You’ll build strong relationships with your class, work closely with colleagues and families, and contribute to a positive school culture where every child feels valued and encouraged to achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum for UKS2

Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

Assess, track, and provide constructive feedback on pupil progress

Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and needs

Work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources and best practice

Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and support staff

Contribute to staff meetings, planning sessions, and school events

Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote the school’s values at all times
Entry Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A positive, patient, and supportive approach to behaviour and wellbeing
Commitment to inclusive practice and high expectations for all pupils
